Vick just didn't have the proper environment growing up and education to be as great as he should have been. I mean hes fucking great, and from my home town, and I watched him play since he was in 9th grade, but imagine if he had the financial stability of tom brady growing up, and a family that didn't live in the ghetto in newport news. To this day I still dont get why Atlanta got rid of reeves. Dan was maximizing his skills in his prime. Andy Reid got a lot out of him but he was past his prime. That boy was a beast. Reeves was the perfect coach for Vick, because Reeves had a similar QB John Elway, but Vick lacked the height to stand in a NFL pocket and throw the ball, sometimes having it batted down. So Reeves told Vick to give it a few and if its not there, get out of that pocket. Im a Ravens fan, and I see some of those things Vick had in Lamar Jackson. I really like Jackson. His potential is unlimited. We saw how he can inspire a team, make the throws and exploit a defense with the RPO. His speed is cheetah quick and defensive backs are left smelling his smoke when he blazes past them. I wish Mike Vick the best, and I hope he does well in his quest to become a coach.
